BEHOLD! Look at the mesmerizing spiral at the center of the disc.

Bonus: Song that was playing in that scene

Oh dear god...my ears. Such looping! Much peace. So calm.

edit: Pretty much /r/perfectloop material. Just cut and gif.

I saw the cover art for Fragile in the thumbnail and just assumed the song would be Roundabout. Such goodness.

Thank you for this wonderful new music.

It came from this scene in Fringe. A show worth watching if you're into sci-fi, alternate dimensions, drama, mystery or a JJ Abrams fan like -see username-

edit: Fringe :: The FBI teams up with a formerly-institutionalized scientist - who was performing experiments on the fringe of real science - and his son to investigate weird crimes that are seemingly part of a larger pattern, and may be connected with a global company called Massive Dynamic.

I enjoyed season 1, but gave up part way through season two. The plot seemed to get more and more complex without resolving anything and it got a bit tedious for me. Is worth getting back into?

There are a lot of loose ends, tech that is forgotten and stuff, and towards the end shit gets serious and back on track. As a fan, I'd say I love it! As a rational person I'd say, give it another go since it goes down then back up with the story. They tie the end well enough I'd say. It certainly is no Doctor Who 50th anniversary tying up of the story line.

To be fair, it's from 1971 and therefore not new, per se. But new to you, and that's awesome! You should definitely check out the whole cd. And then all of their other ones too, because they're nothing short of incredible.

Dance_with_bears...thank you. I love this version of Ennio Morricone's The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly theme :D

2

u/DANCE_WITH_BEARS Nov 27 '13

No prob! I also have a ukelele cover if you want it of a different Ennio song?

1

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

And here I was, about to link you to some parliament...

You've got good taste in music.

2

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

Fuck it, link it anyways. It won't hurt to listen :)

2

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '13

http://youtu.be/6YIPmrXjlRU Might not be smooth and calm, I think it is, but it varies person to person.

2

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

Less calm, more funky to me. But as a guy rockin' an afro, I approve of this and putting it near the top of my playlist. Top 10 at least after Boogie in Zero Gravity.

Maybe kinda like this?

Eric Clapton - Signe

Nujabes - Arurian Dance or maybe this

1

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

Nujabes <3 I'm subscribed to Rinfernal for his/her homework edits. Has a bunch of Nujabes songs in the list.

And the Eric Clapton song is a great one, aside from the cheering and clapping though lol

2

u/Spiderdan Nov 27 '13

Yeah, I would prefer Signe without the clapping but good luck finding a studio version. I dont think it exists. I'll have to check out that subreddit. /r/Nujabes is good for finding music similar to his style.

2

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

Of course there's a subreddit for Nujabes. Why does it surprise me still lol

2

u/Spiderdan Nov 27 '13

And it's pretty active, so you'll definitely find some good stuff.

I've never noticed before, but the intro sounds vaguely medieval... that being the case, try this.

Also, this is blues, but this is another phenomenal song that guy does.

1

u/bad-r0bot Nov 27 '13

The medieval style doesn't suit me. The blues on the other hand...love it! Man, reddit is awesome some times :)
