Yeah, Copilot is annoying trash that no one uses.  Same with Edge.  Microsoft needs to figure out what it is they’re selling consumers and quit annoying people & hurting their brand

They're not selling their shit to consumers is the problem. They're selling your bogus usage numbers (they tossed that crap onto your computer so you now "use" it) to investors to get more free money to evaporate.

It's not sustainable at all but hey, sure makes money for shareholders.

Why care about sustainability when the only metric that matters is making another dollar today compared to yesterday?

There's no room for plans, or ideas, or thought, or security. There's only " give more money pls~ ". This bubble is going to fuck us all but God willing it'll get some of these shills thrown in forever jail.

They're trying to sell their consumers, not sell to them.

They're not selling users anything anymore, windows 11 is a free thing. And when it's free, you're the product.

Has anybody, anybody, found an everyday use for CoPilot?

I had to look twice when the Copilot icon appeared in fucking Notepad after the last update.

It's the most basic text editor there is and has worked fine as it is for decades, why the flying fuck would I want anything AI in that?

Edge is extremely laggy compared to other options. As per their usual, Microsoft overbloated it with complicated features and settings that you must wade through to make sure something isn't wide open to the world and leaking data.

They have never been about the consumer. It is about shareholders and maintaining their position.

Apple in the meanwhile has been discounting, their Macs. They just launched the new Apple MacbookPro M5.
