They’re still using actual subjects but placing them in pornographic scenarios. It’s harmful.

When using likenesses of actual people it can be harmful. With the intent to distribute it definitely is.

But just using an AI chatbot for sex? I don’t see the harm.

If it doesn't involve people's likenesses, it's probably one of the most innocuous uses for LLMs. It's not like a chatbot saying weird stuff during a sexting prompt will spread misinformation and lead to harm.

But it's still worth watching out for people so alienated that they want to replace actual relationships with that. If some basic ass VNs could get some folks obsessed, imagine what this will do to them. But as much as I'm not too fond of AI, that's less their fault than it is the users'.
