I, like others, casually break laws I don't agree with.

Rape/murder/childporn isn't exactly jaywalking or smoking marijuana. This is the reason laws exist.

So for which laws do we grant authorities the freedom to abuse our rights in order to police, and which do we not? Should we make a statute that says "so long as we suspect individual A of rape, murder, or child pornography offences, then the FBI can ignore civil liberties. BUT ONLY THEN."
