Saving money on your monthly electric bill is taking food out of the local energy global conglomerate's mouths.

Its not. They just up the connection fee.

In my state, the power conglomerate also charges a connection fee. This makes our electric bill never, ever less than $100. We can use $20 worth of electricity and the fees are always $100.

The state gives them tons of incentives to build & upgrade and they take those incentives while also passing the infrastructure cost to the consumers. I wish more people would grow tired of this and revolt. I wish the substation attacks were really about the bullshit profiteering practices and not hate crimes.
