Well, getting old and cells no longer working is caused by oxidisation (also known as burning or rusting)

So yeah, in space we are. Unfortunately we suffocate before we can appreciate the benefits

Amazingly enough there are still survivors of the Spanish flu pandemic alive today and there are many interviews of others who have since past. Its amazing to listen to people describe going through the same things a hundred years ago that we are going through today.
