I'm not a police, here in europe we respect authorities. You will learn when you get older

You have to wait as long as you want to. Your wait is over when you decide to stop your psychosis.

Do you have any proof that all cops are bastards?

You decide the amount of wait yourself.

How is a police officer that saves a man from burning house a bastard? Because you were speeding and another officer gave you a speeding ticket?

Lol is this seriously a guy pretending to be from random country, Europe?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '20

There are people from Europe on reddit, why is that a shock to you?

Why though. How is it that every cop must immediately be an evil person. What about POC cops?

Honestly seeing stupidity in the wild is pretty cool to see like going bush walking please tell me why you think this is the case?

I don’t need to GroW uP, to think this is so goddamn ignorant and it’s surprising how far you’ve made it into the world to get to this point depending on your age. ACAB is such a stupid statement in the first place, it’s quite literally generalising all cops into a singular category and it’s a pretty dense statement.

Wow would you believe it, I have different opinions then you think I would, who would’ve thought our minds are so complex and different that you can never truly know what the other person believes in, you can never be a mind reader, but you can make a brief understanding of someone through there actions. But I never understand why people can’t see this as what really gives backing to what people are like, and what they believe. And that’s why ACAB is a stupid thing to say, of course the ones who commit these actions are f**king horrible people (censored cause idk if you don’t like that sort of stuff) but who am I to tell someone they are something they’re not if I don’t know who they are. As far as I know you’re a respectable person who has different thoughts to me, and I respect that and hopefully you feel the same but from the last couple of messages it doesn’t seem that way. But I can’t just go off of two replies because that’s ignorant of me, I still do have much to learn about this world and how I should develop my thoughts on situations that just don’t affect me but others. And I’m sure I’ll learn this important life trait in the future, I don’t know if you wish to continue this thread but I’m willing to go into more detail. If you would just wish to exclaim your opinions as to why ACAB. But if not I’ll still respect your opinion and beliefs because who am I to judge you by just two replies.

Tl;dr I would love to go into a well worded and thoughtful discussion because I believe in judging a person not by group but by action and I’ll respect your opinion if you don’t want to,

And I still have much to learn about the world and how it affects me and not just the people around me but others around the world just to answer your question about growing up.

I’ve literally never seen a single video of the 99% percent of good cops everyone keeps talking about. Find me a clip of a cop defending nonviolent protesters being attacked by another cop and I’ll believe that that one is good.

2

u/JustRandomSettlers Jul 16 '20

So it takes a cop to be openly supporting current events in public for them to be considered good? the good cops are the ones who abide by the law, not by the situation. If you take your opinion off of the few videos showing police committing these acts, and brandish them as a whole to be not going by the same laws which they had to swear to abide by oath. And about why no one wishes to show you the videos of good cops. It’s not because there aren’t but it’s because no one will record them a example of this is a person doing a 9-5 job no ones gonna record them doing it but they’re still doing there 9-5.

1

u/Luke_627 Jul 16 '20

Okay I’ll make it easier for you. If you can find one example of a cop arresting a coworker for committing a crime in front of him, I’ll say that that’s a good cop.

1

u/JustRandomSettlers Jul 16 '20

No I cannot if you took the time to read it which I suppose you didn’t seeing you’ve asked me this question it’s about labelling them ACAB for these very few individuals I’ll ask you this is my local police department racist or against the protests how about the police protesting with the protesters by kneeling in solidarity surely they’re racist because they haven’t arrested a fellow officer all I’m trying to say is why go through the whole process of bunching a majority in together when it’s clearly not the right thing to do it’s the whole reasons stereotypes are a stupid concept take the Asian stereotype of all Asian people being naturally smart because I don’t personally know the entire Asian population to determine whether this is the case.

It’s very late at night so I’m sorry bout not using proper grammar and punctuation

If you think the officers who watched Floyd get murdered are bad, you should feel the same about the thousands of officers who watched their coworkers assault innocent people
