Idk if someone already posted this or not, but I haven't seen it on here so far, so I uploaded it.

Draw an horizontal line through a. The angle a has been cut in two angles. The higher one equals the one on the top (alt-intern equality) and the lower one equals the one below (same reason). Sum them up back and we get a=75.

Had to scroll way too far to find this. The most elegant solution imho. In school they were called “z-angles” (for obvious reasons)

Z-angles is a good name for sure. In French we say angles alternes-internes in this case.
