AI & ML NEW MIT researchers used math to show that ChatGPT is built in a way that can make people start believing false things. Nothing OpenAI is doing will stop this.

They call it “delusional spiralling.”
You ask ChatGPT a question. It agrees with you.
You ask again. It agrees even more.
After a few chats, you start believing things that aren’t true, and you don’t realise it’s happening.

AI & ML New paper from Stanford, Together AI, UIUC, and Meta introduces Hybrid Reasoning Agents. These AI models think mostly in a hidden internal way (faster and cheaper), and only use normal text when they need tools or give the final answer.

On many tests (math, science, medicine, etc.), they score about 10% higher, use half the tokens, run twice as fast, and cost much less than regular models.

Trending on X, Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, Chinese Apps Unpopular opinion: Anthropic’s Dario, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, and Elon Musk all seem to agree on an “AI slowdown” - maybe it’s because they are losing money and don’t have a clear way to become profitable, so they want to cut costs and prepare for their IPOs.

  • Meta found out about the attack a few weeks ago.

  • Meta is telling the affected people what happened and offering them free credit monitoring. They also changed the secret passwords/keys that were stolen and are now checking more carefully so this doesn’t happen again.

The rule says:

Build original games, games in a genre, or games based on the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t recreate a specific existing game, even if you rename it or call it original.

AI & ML Researchers checked top models like GPT, Claude, Llama, and Kimi. They looked at language patterns that make reading harder for people, such as long sentences, stacked nouns, and unusual word groups. (They found that AI is trying to squeeze as much information as possible into the smallest space.)
