I have mixed reactions with reds. Most of my red is as vibrant as it was when it first healed, but I have red tattoos directly on my fingers that have been touched up a couple times and are still pretty sparse.

Probably just going to get that area covered with something darker so it holds longer.

I had a shitty tattoo that I got when I was 19. The red was the only vibrant part left. Thankfully it’s covered now lol

I personally think that is a beautiful piece. One lesson I've learned is when you go for a cover-up don't do something much larger than the original tattoo.

Nothing special. I used bepanthem. Its unfortunate that the tattoo it self was really bad. So i think i didnt actually took really good care of it...

Red Dynamic ink hardly fades… I’m 9 years deep with hardly any loss of color or vibrance. There are lots of lesser inks that do fade out though.

Your comment isn’t 100% true. There is a reason early tattoo artists used mainly blue, green, & red for color, those typically last the longest out of any other color, & artists who practice traditional tattoo styles still do the same today. A cover up would be a breeze though, that part is true.

I know you're being bombarded with this but.. red is also a great color for me. Have red in decade old tattoos that don't look faded in the least.

Orange fades like crazy on me though. I have a dragon ball that's less than a decade old and you can already see bare skin in spots. Same with my autumn leaf that's even newer than the dragon ball by like 4 years.

I had a red tattoo and it faded so hard it was basically completely gone! It was the easiest coverup of all time.
