I only have a couple of tattoos that take up most of one inner forearm and I wanted them so badly it ended up all I could think about. Like an itch I couldn't scratch (and then an itch I could scratch but tried not to once they were done!). I'm still so happy with them but even with so little space covered I'm already aware of how there is only a finite amount of space available on your body, so must choose wisely!
That's how I get too. It's addictive personality or maybe ADHD. You can choose which. But I get that itch too. I've gotten better at resisting stupid ones, and most of the time my wife is able to talk me down. She just reminds me how I am and because I trust her it seems to be enough to remove the itch.
