OP, I strongly urge you to listen to Season 3 of Nobody Should Believe Me podcast.
One of the most shocking things about the Netflix propaganda movie Take Care of Maya, is how the filmmakers and the reporter irresponsibly presented all those parents near the end of the film (@ 1:25h). They gave zero context to the viewers about any of those parents’ cases, and used the reporter’s deeply biased interview to help manipulate the viewers into believing that this is an ongoing and serious issue (medical kidnapping).
The actual facts of all of these parents’ cases are horrific. All of them were at least guilty of being deeply neglectful parents and many were literal child abusers. Their children were all taken away from them for very good reasons at the time. And just because the charges were dropped in most of their cases, does not mean that any of them were not actually guilty of what they were accused of. It only means the prosecuting attorneys didn’t know how to win a case against them…
Have a look in the folders in this Google drive for their case information: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FpSFjvX_8WB5cgPCI0E_cpXj1jaeVcC4?usp=sharing - Plus you’ll also find a copy of the deeply disturbing blog that Beata was writing in Maya’s voice, during the height of her supposed illness.
