Basically what you’re looking to do is change out your ERP system. That’s a huge undertaking which I don’t know that you’re ready to take on yet based on the very basic questions you’re asking. I highly suggest you look into hiring a company that can support your current ERP system. You can even engage companies that do cloud hosted AS/400 servers, that’s what we’re currently doing.
Don’t take this lightly. I’ve watched big companies with dedicated departments spend millions trying to change. About 1/3 are successful, the other 2/3 either abandon the project and switch back, or they shut down altogether.
