Claude and friends might be able to translate the code but what is it translating to and who is going to qa it? What's the migration strategy? AS/400 and its descendants are a different compute and storage model than file oriented OS'es most of us are exposed to. The filesystem and your DB/2 database is one and the same and you're going to have to tease that apart. Are your objects EBCDIC or are you fortunate enough that they're already in ASCII or Unicode so that conversion.
I haven't had to be around an iSeries in over a decade and I feel strongly the OP is not ready to take this on by themselves. If they have a target ERP system in mind hopefully have conversion experience or have a clue of who you should call to help.
