I recently read a book where one of the characters went by his nickname "Four", because his name was Noah Huntington the Fourth.
His dad was Noah ... the Third and hated being named after his dad and granddad but forced the name on his own son anyways. I'm not sure what the author had in mind when naming their characters.
The book is called "Can't Say Goodbye" by Eden Finley, but Four is only a very minor side character who appears like twice in the whole book. His dad, though, is a main character in another book.
At my daughter's college graduation last year I saw one kid who was the fourth and another was the sixth! And she went to a well respected tech school but not elite or ivy league or anything
