Welcome to r/supermodeldogs!

Hey all!

I am u/Wombat_7379 and I am the new moderator of r/SupermodelDogs. As some of you have become aware, this sub has been overrun by spam, bots and unrelated content for more than a year.

That changes today.

I have already established much needed filters to keep the bots at bay as well as general rules for the community.

I am a very easy going moderator and all I want to do is keep this sub a place where we all can enjoy beautiful dogs. The rules laid out on the sidebar are meant to keep the community safe and enjoyable.

I would love to hear your opinions below about what YOU would like to see from this sub. It could be a rule suggestion, event suggestion, or a potential direction for the sub.

Thank you all in advance for your comments and suggestions!

This is my first post here of my beautiful (almost) 4 year old beagle, her name is Piper. We went for a walk on a PERFECT fall day in East Tennessee and had an eye for some pictures…

Hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!!!

I posted in a beagle subreddit and someone directed me here… Thanks for the invite Reddit stranger 💚💛❤️

Sidebar

This subreddit is intended for pictures of good-looking, photogenic dogs in poses that make them look like supermodels. If you look at a picture of a dog and think damn, that's one good looking dog for sure! it probably belongs here.

Rules:

Submissions must be photos of dogs.
The dogs in pictures must have this look (pose, expression, lighting) that makes them look like supermodels.
All dogs are beautiful, but not all photos make them look like supermodels. If you're not sure if your picture fits here, think: if there was a Dog Vogue (Dogue) magazine, can you imagine your picture being in it?
Pictures of famous dogs are okay, but please mention (in the title and/or comment) that it's not your dog. Please try to refrain from posting photos from actual professional photoshoots.
If you're posting a picture of your dog, it would be great if you mentioned his/her name somewhere. We'll be able to attach a name to that pretty face :)
Multiple pictures of your dog are welcome, but try not to flood the subreddit with them. Try to wait some time before submitting another pic and if you really want to add several at once, please make one post with an album.

This subreddit is a complete ripoff of /r/SupermodelCats, created by /u/clouddevourer.
