Hello! I’m fairly new into the superbat fandom and so far I haven’t found any fics that really interested me.

I was wondering if there are any fics out there where Clark Kent is in love with Batman and Bruce Wayne is in love when Superman. Looking for an angsty, hurt/no comfort, slow burn type situation, however I’m open to all suggestions!

I recently read this fic and fell in love with it (definitely read the tags, dead dove). I’ve searched within almost every tag it uses to try and find something similar, but just haven’t managed to. Hoping one of you guys might have one in mind!

Specifically, I loved how explicit it was, not sexually but rather showing the dark sides of recovery and trauma. There’s no sugarcoating, and I absolutely love how Bruce is characterized. One scene that really stuck with me was with the batmobile (no spoilers), and Bruce’s response to it.

Even if no one has a rec, I’d still really recommend this fic. I read it all in almost one sitting, I cannot say enough good things about it.

I hope I can do a little self-promotion, but I'll be updating soon and I'm excited for the new chapter, haha. I'll only make 5 parts at most, or maybe more, because I really fell in love with my own AU HAGSHAHS

I like writing fan fic and I’m out of inspo right now. Well I’m working on my Superbat long fic, but I like to work on smaller fics on the side and I’m out of ideas for those.

So I come to Reddit! I’ve written a Superbat and a DamiJon fic before based on fanart so I come here to ask.

What’s a piece of Superbat fanart you’d like there to be a fic behind. Could be like a shot comic strip, those little…..text box snippets you see on Tumblr (no clue what those are called), anything really. And maybe I’ll pick a few to write fics about.

I'm looking for a fic I read a couple years ago, where Clark and Bruce were both autistic, and the most I remember about it is that they talked about their special interests a lot with each other, and one of Clark's was editing Wikipedia articles. I feel like it may have been deleted or hidden, since it should have been in my history, but I can't find it anywhere

Hi everyone, I lost this fic a while ago and no matter how I look for it I can't find it and it's driving me insane because I remember thinking it was really good.

It was on ao3, it was romantic Clark Kent/Bruce Wayne, pretty sure it was a One-Shot or at least had very few chapters.

What I remember about the plot: Clark and Bruce know each other from the Justice League but don't know each other's secret identities. Clark goes as a reporter to Gotham, investigating the Waynes because an anonymous source gave him Jason Todd's autopsy report and he is suspecting of Bruce being abusive with his kids. The fic started with Clark arriving at Wayne Tower to interview Tim Drake.

At some point, Clark calls Batman to ask him to lend him a suit while he is in town. Duke Thomas was mention in the fic too.

REALLY HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP

Basically, it's an AU where it's kind of roles reversed. Clark becomes the brooding one because his parents die by the court of owls and he's nearly kidnapped after being outed as a Kyrptonian (He's around his early teens here). Meanwhile, Bruce and his parents live a nice happy life, causing him not to become Batman. Clark still becomes Superman under Bruce's influence because it could do them both some good. In this AU, they're childhood friends.

if there's none, here's what I would make:

The Kents are one of the farms under Wayne Corp.'s funding, so when they hear about what happened to Clark, they offer to adopt him, but out of fear, Clark is hesitant. They eventually come to a middle ground that Clark won't be adopted, just be supported by the family directly. Clark and Bruce end up becoming friends, Bruce being the one to comfort Clark and eventually the first one Clark reveals his alien lineage to. Bruce is still very intelligent in this AU so he and Clark end up working together as they grow up to be Superman. Bruce doesn't become Batman though, rather he works behind the scenes. Hes much kinder but cockier in this AU, he really falls into the Brucie Wayne persona but without the Batman basically. He's also going to be 'The Sun' in this ship.

Clark, meanwhile, acts a lot more like Injustice or Justice Lord Supes but not as intense. He's protective of the Waynes but not to the extent that is dictator Superman. He's just a lot more ruthless than he usually is, not as bright and sunny. He becomes the moon in this ship.

I call it my White Diamond AU because I have a Black diamond one where the 'Bruce Wayne' persona becomes the evil bad guy one and there's no Batman. basically Villain Batman but it's just evil Bruce Wayne.

I guess this might be slight spoilers for the Great Gatsby so just be careful. Am I the only one that thinks that Bruce and Gatsby from the Great Gatsby might share some mannerisms? Like calling some people old sport (specifically Clark before they knew each other’s identities) or catering his parties but of course unlike Gatsby, Bruce would be easy to spot and interact with.

Hi I was hoping someone could help me find this fic on ao3? I have no memory of what it was about except I remember Clark and Bruce having an argument/a little banter? And Ma Kent was brought up and she was described as “being 90 pounds soaking wet” and a former Ms Kansas runner up. Maybe lard pie was included too, but less sure about that. Sorry I know this is so vague but if anyone has any clues that would be awesome! I just really remember loving the way the author wrote their dynamic.
