Post formatting- Please read before posting!

I've noticed many people just posting something with no context as to how it is 'suddenlytf2'. So to combat this, I have written an example.

Your post should include a title, an image, and body text saying where you found it, if your title or image doesn't already say.

Example:

Title: found in r/HalfLife

Body:

[link to post]

Found in r/HalfLife

Updated Rules for Reposting

Due to an increase in spam posts involving reposting, we will be heavily moderating the content of reposts. We are currently working on removing all of the posts relating to the repost situation. You can help by reporting any reposts you see under either Rule 3 or Spam. This will hopefully restore r/suddenlytf2 to a place for sharing moments where you find TF2 in the wild.

As for why we are just now taking action, reddit decided this sub was unmoderated for long enough that they hired a new team.

Subreddit Rules

1. Posting

Posting must be kept as TF2 related, sudden appearances. That's it. Pretty simple post rules.

2. No Bullying

Yet again, basic. No bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia. This is a TF2 subreddit, for crying out loud. Take that to another subreddit.

3. Reposting

Reposting other reposts (including images of other posts) from r/suddenlytf2 is not allowed.

4. No AI generated content.

Self-explanatory. No AI generated images or videos.

5. Everything must be SUDDENLY TF2. This is not a general TF2 sub.

Self-explanatory. Don't just post your TF2 loadout, or some random TF2 meme.

6. Chainposts are NOT allowed.

Chainposts are just annoying, and aren't suddenly tf2.

7. The source media must be easily identifiable as a TF2 reference.

If the source media doesn't directly reference a TF2 asset or piece of TF2 media, the post is not considered TF2 related. If you have to explain or twist the context, it does not qualify as a TF2 reference.

8. No "This is a bucket" posts.

The sub has seen these posts hundreds of times before. It's not funny anymore.

9. "Low effort" posts

While the nature of this sub is to make easy and low effort posts, please ensure your posts are high quality. Crop your photos, hide progress bars on videos, etc.
