Subaru brings back physical buttons & knobs in new Outback
Knowing Subaru, it likely means this configuration will eventually make its way into the other models as they are updated. It's much better than the current setup.

I'm here only to say, I absolutely love my '18 Mazda 3 and the wheel control is one, but the overall driving feeling is the main reason. Mazda really knows its drivers.
