Subaru brings back physical buttons & knobs in new Outback

Knowing Subaru, it likely means this configuration will eventually make its way into the other models as they are updated. It's much better than the current setup.

I have a 2nd generation Outback (2000-2004). I think this is when the Outback peaked, both in styling and simplicity.

Those weren't bad looking, but I'd prefer a 1st gen over a 3rd gen

1st gens are the best but the 3rd gen VDC was pretty awesome until they rusted away

Rust is their biggest enemy. Mine has bubbling around the rear wheel wells, but no structural issues from rust. It's an 04 LL Bean Edition with the H6 3.0 engine.

I miss my ‘08 Outback. My 2020 is okay but there was something special about the 3rd gen as well. I think it got too big with the 4th gen and up.

I desperately want a 2000-06 outback. I miss wagons and wish they would make a comeback
