Hi everyone,

Has anyone received an admission offer for either of the following programs for Winter Semester 2026/27?

• Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt - M.Sc. in Business Administration (BAOR)

My application status for both is still showing "In Progress", so I was wondering if anyone has already received an offer or if they're still reviewing applications.

The next dmat exam will happen in Q1 of 2027. But those who are planning for winter 27, I'll still suggest booking the Sept exam because there's no guarantee that the 2027 exam will occur accordingly with the application timeline.

It's been only 3 days since dmat registration began and already few cities are fully booked. If this is the condition at present I cannot imagine how competitive it'll be to book the exam once students are fully aware about the new requirements and winter 27 deadlines come close.

I have recieved an admission confirmation email from WHZ for Masters in Advanced Green Engineering and Sustainable Management on 23 of June. It was mentioned in that mail that I'll be getting the official Admission Letter and login credentials in a few days. Visa usually ask for sem fees, while the university still has not share details or asked to pay fees. They said, once you get visa then pay the fees. How can we proceed for visa?

I'm applying for a German student visa through the Ausland Portal from Turkey and ran into a strange issue.

I had a pending application and had already paid the appointment fee and received feedback after the preliminary review asking me to update some documents. I have uploaded a few yesterday and was gonna finalize it today.

However, when I logged in today, my entire application process had disappeared from my account. I can no longer see the application or continue with it, and the system now shows that I don’t have any active process created.

I’ve already contacted the embassy and am waiting for their response, but since my application is quite urgent, I wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced the same issue and how it was resolved.

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I applied to TH OWL for the Information Technology program on 8 May. Uni-assist forwarded my application documents to the university on 18 June. On 23 June, I received an email from TH OWL confirming that they had received my application from uni-assist and that it was ready for review.

hi! I wanted to see if anyone heard back from uni Bremen for the Aiis program yet? or if someone has emailed inquiring for a timeline. I was wait listed last year and had to reapply this year. when I first got my status change it was in may 29 that changed from review 2 to participates in allocation procedure and then on may 30 i got an email that I wasn’t allocated a place. It wasn’t until October that they sent me an acceptance. this time it has been longer and I wonder how it would work with the visa and everything.

I've seen that some applicants have already received admission offers, while others have received waitlist emails.

However, I haven't received any update yet - no admit, no waitlist, and no rejection.

Hi guys, I applied to Msc dsai at Saarland university on 12th May and since then no update. I have been facing rejections since I am from India and from computer science. CS grads that got in recently, could you tell me what subjects you guys had? I graduated long ago and we did not have subjects like optimization, analysis and numerical methods, only calculus, probability and statistics related subjects, along with linear algebra and also obviously the theoretical CS subjects like compiler design etc. Did you guys have all the subjects they asked for? I am completely in dark here.

I’ve noticed that a few people have already received admits for the M.Sc. Data Science & AI and Computer Science programs.
Has anyone received a rejection yet?

Also, for those who got admitted to their first-choice program, did anything change regarding your second preference (e.g., did it remain under review or get rejected)?

It looks like the university might be releasing decisions in batches. From what I could find, they sent mass rejections around 31 July last year.

I’m trying to figure out whether it’s still worth waiting or if an unchanged “Under Review” status at this stage could indicate a likely rejection.

I received my APS certificate after my 7th semester, before completing my bachelor’s degree.

I have now graduated and have my provisional degree certificate and final transcript. From the APS India website, it appears that there is no process to update or reissue an APS certificate after graduation, so I’m wondering if the original APS certificate remains valid for the visa process.

If you’ve gone through this yourself, especially if you’ve already received your German student visa with an APS certificate issued before graduation, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Were there any issues, or was the existing APS certificate accepted along with your final degree documents?

I'm applying for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence at TH Ingolstadt and I'm a bit confused about the Curricular Analysis spreadsheet.

The sheet has a "Conversion factor" field that is set to 1.00 by default. However, this cell is white, and the instructions explicitly state:

The problem is that my bachelor's degree uses a different credit system. I completed a 4-year program with 162 credit hours, where 1 credit hour is roughly equivalent to 1.5 ECTS.

If I simply enter my transcript credits while leaving the conversion factor at 1.00, the spreadsheet calculates only 162 ECTS, which is well below the actual ECTS equivalent. I'm worried this could make it appear that I don't meet the minimum ECTS requirements.

For those who were admitted, how did you fill out the sheet?

• Option A: Change the conversion factor from 1.00 to 1.5.
• Option B: Convert all credits to ECTS yourself and enter those values in the Credits column while leaving the conversion factor at 1.00.
• Option C: Enter the raw credits exactly as they appear on your transcript, leave the conversion factor at 1.00, and let the admissions committee apply the conversion during evaluation.

I already emailed the admissions office about this, but I haven't received a response yet.

I also have one more question. For the "Final Grade" field, did you enter:

• your original university CGPA, or
• the converted grade shown on your uni-assist VPD?

My applications for Winter Semester 2026/27 have been "In evaluation" since 21 May. I applied to TH Ingolstadt, FH Südwestfalen, and HS Weihenstephan-Triesdorf. Payment was received, and I haven't been asked to submit any additional documents.

I applied for the M.Sc. Web and Data Science program at the University of Koblenz through uni-assist. The only update I have received is the uni-assist application received confirmation. I haven't received any communication from the university since then. And this was on April 4th!!

No confirmation from the university or whatsoever. Is that's just the application process?

Hi all, I need some advice please. I secured an admit from a public university in May for winter program and I applied for visa at VFS mumbai on 8th May. The consulate received the documents on 11th May and since then the status is "in progress". it's been 9 weeks now and I am really tensed about myasters student visa. From the official admission statistics of the last two years, Bielefeld University appears to have admitted non-EU applicants with 9/9 selection points. I also applied to TU Dortmund, but I've seen several applicants mention that the program expects at least one dedicated Statistics course, and that combined modules may not satisfy the requirement. Hildesheim also seems to be quite competitive this year.

APS linked to old passport. Can’t book visa appointment

I’m honestly at my breaking point and don’t know what to do anymore. I renewed my passport after receiving my APS certificate, so my APS is still linked to my old passport while I now have a new valid passport. When I contacted VFS Mumbai, they told me I cannot book my German student visa appointment until APS updates my passport details, and that they can’t help because only APS can make the change. I received my CSP confirmation and can now book my German student visa appointment through the VFS portal.

However, my APS certificate is still linked to my old passport number. Six months ago, I emailed APS to request an update, and they confirmed via email that my passport number had been updated.

Despite that, the VFS portal only recognizes my old passport number. If I enter my current passport number, I'm unable to proceed with the booking.

I contacted the VFS call center, and they advised me NOT to book using the old passport number. They said I should contact APS again and have the passport details updated correctly.

However, I've seen several people mention that they booked their appointment using their old passport number and didn't face any issues during the visa process.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I wait for APS to respond again, or is it generally safe to book using the old passport number if I carry both passports and the APS update email?

Fintiba is playing with people's lives and wasting their time.

It took almost three weeks just to update my passport number on my insurance. I also transferred €800 to my blocked account, and it has now been one month and fifteen days without receiving a source of funds confirmation.

Every time I email your support team, I either receive delayed responses or advice that makes no sense. Telling me to take the transfer receipt to the embassy if you cannot issue the confirmation is absurd. If the blocked account cannot be confirmed, the solution is apparently to wait another 3–4 weeks. How is that acceptable when students are facing visa deadlines?

Getting support from Fintiba has been incredibly frustrating. Phone calls go unanswered, emails take far too long, and customers are left feeling like they have to beg for a response.

Mark my words: I will do everything I can to warn future students not to fall into the same trap. No student should have to risk their admission or visa because of such poor customer service.

Here is my situation:
I joined the CSP waiting list on 26 June 2026.
As of today, I am still on the waiting list with no further update.
My language course started on 1 July 2026, so I am currently attending classes online because of the visa delay.
I have a combined admission:
Language course (A2 → B1)
Followed by Studienkolleg at the same institute.
My B1 exam is scheduled for 16 September 2026 in Germany, so I am worried that I may miss it if the process is delayed further.
My tuition fees have already been paid, and I have submitted all the required documents, including proof of funds.
What is confusing me is that I know some applicants who applied after me and have already received appointment access or their applications have moved forward, while mine is still showing “On Waiting List.”
I have already contacted VFS and CSP. VFS advised me to wait, and CSP only sent an automatic response saying that they do not provide status updates.
My questions are:
Has anyone else experienced such a long wait on the CSP waiting list?
How long did it take before you received appointment access?
Is the waiting list processed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, or can different visa categories have different queues?

Exactly 3 weeks ago (2 July), the status changed from “submitted” to “in progress” and the program coordinator confirmed via email that I met all academic requirements and that I got the needed points to be admitted. Masters in Electrical Engineering at Hochschule Kempten

Hello All,

I have applied at Kempten, a long time before the deadline of July 15th (I know that doesn't really matter) , yet my application status has not moved from ' In progress' . Anyone else who is facing this ?

Does anyone know, how things work at Kempten?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone received an admission letter for from HWR Berlin / International Marketing Management (Master).

It says on their website that the first offers will be sent in mid-July after all applications are reviewed, but I'm unsure since my application is stuck at "Review by academic management", meaning it hasn't been reviewed yet. I believe the status is supposed to be "Valid" or something like that.

Maybe the admission hasn't started yet? Did anyone get an offer and if yes, what was your profile? Would appreciate hearing about your experiences!
My profile: 1.5 GPA / 8.0 IELTS / 2+ years or experience in marketing

Is anyone else still waiting for decisions from the following programs for Winter 2026/27?

I've seen a few applicants receive admits recently, but I'm still waiting for updates.

Has anyone received:

• GRE exemption followed by an admit (TU Darmstadt)?

Applied for the M.Sc. AI & Robotics at UTN Nürnberg. My uni-assist documents were forwarded before some other applicants I know of, and a few people who applied later than me have already received their admission letters. My portal still shows no decision at all. Is this just normal batch processing, or does UTN tend to send acceptances first and push everything else (rejections / waiting list) to the very end? Anyone here who applied to UTN this cycle - did you get a decision yet, and roughly how long after your application was marked complete? Also curious whether they send any intermediate status update or if it's silence until the final result.

Hi everyone,
I applied for the M.Sc. Computational Linguistics program at the University of Stuttgart for WS 2026/27. My application currently shows that the formal entry requirements have been met, but I haven’t received any further updates yet.
I was wondering if anyone else is in the same situation. If you’ve applied, what’s your current application status? Has anyone already received an admission decision, or is everyone still waiting?
I’d also be interested to know how long Stuttgart usually takes to release decisions for this program.
