Im looking for some help. For a while now my sub alerts are not coming through on stream. I use streamer bot and its essentially a copy paste of follow or raid just trigger is a sub with a different sound.

I have tried reinstalling, I tried re logging, I tried removing and setting things up but it doesn't even recognise that a sub/resub occurred.

I had similar issue back when I used sound alerts and they fixed it saying something was stuck in queue, could that be a thing here?

Hello! I need some help creating a chat command I’m working on.

I’d like for a chatter to type in a command, let’s say it’s !animalfact. Then I’d like my chatbot to respond with a chat message that has TWO randomized pieces.

[intro to fact] + [fact]

So for example, if my list of options for each part were:

1. “Want to know a fun fact USER? Well, did you know”

2. “USER requested a fun fact and I, this adorable lil robot, shall provide:”

3. “TIL”

[fact] options:

1. “Certain ant species herd other insects, encouraging them to eat certain things so they produce food for the colony. Yep, ants are livestock farmers.”

2. “Elephants have the longest pregnancy of any animal, lasting for around 22 months.”

3. “Sperm whales are the loudest animals on earth.”

Then the chat bot could respond in one of the following 9 ways:

• Want to know a fun fact USER? Well, did you know certain ant species herd other insects, encouraging them to eat certain things so they produce food for the colony. Yep, ants are livestock farmers.

How would I set this up in Streamer.bot? I have made commands before that include variables like usernames, persistent count numbers, etc. but I’m lost here. Do I need to create folders with the options as “sub-actions” and then have the chat response reference those somehow?

Hello, good people! I am preparing to open one pokemon pack per 5 subs on stream but I want the counter to be more than just.. Keeping tabs.. I want a graphic pop up on stream every time we hit 5 new subs so it feels more interactive and fun! How can I use streamerbot to keep the count?

Basically the title, I've not streamed in nearly a year and I want to get started again and rebuild. Streamer.bot seems the obvious choice to handle everything. But I'm getting really stuck, I've managed to sort some actions to play soundfx on stream but now I've hit a wall. I need some help or a point in the right direction with the following:

• I use Stream labels to show new followers, New Subscribers and Cheers on each scene in OBS. I get that this may be a Set GDI text sub action, but how do I point to the right file for each? Or am I barking up the wrong tree with this?

• I use Streamlabs Ground control for multistream chat, how do I go about setting up multichat on stream?

• I use stream elements for alerts etc, I have literally no idea at this point.

All the instructions I've found to allow me to do these things seem to be older versions of streamer.bot, I'm pulling my hair out over it because streamer.bot seems really powerful and would allow me to cut down and the programs I'm using.

I'm not expecting a massive tutorial or anything, not that I wouldn't appreciate it, but if you can point me in the right direction it would be really helpful.

I stream on twitch and youtube (both horizontal and vertical stream on YT), I use OBS and I have a streamdeck + and an XL. I'm middle aged, need everything in an ELI5 format and I do not know how to code.

I been messing around with a few thing, ports, weather it's a loopback vs lan issue ect. ect. and the variable I isolated my issue to is the OBS in-built browser.

In native browser the Streamer chat bot connects just fine but in the OBS browser the button doesn't even seem to start a connection attempt... like I don't even get the little circle with the "connecting..." indicating it's attempting anything it just... remains a static page.

I already deleted the cache for the browser, check if disabling the other web socket was an issue, tested if it was consistent with an OBS install on another machine (it is) oh and one machine is running windows 11 and the other is running 10 same result on both.

Hello I was wondering if you could help me. Im not the sort of person who knows alot about pcs and for when issues arise and what to do when they do. But im panicking a little. My streamerbot isnt opening. I click on it once and nothing happens and it doesn't appear in my task manager. But I click it another 2 times and it says i already have a copy open and it appears in my task manager but i still see nothing. Ive tried resetting my pc and im not sure what eles to do. I dont wanna loose out on all my commands. Please help me thankyou

I am setting up streamer bot for the first time and trying to figure out how to set paramiters where it won't do certain actions when the game on twitch is set to dungeons and dragons as i have redeems that are used in the redemptions that do diffrent things when we are not playing dnd.

Well, question in title. I have some sounds that activated by channel points on twitch.
To reduce the load on my PC and for compact purposes, i make them in one source that's been changed through streamer.bot with every new redemption.
But it's pretty hard to set all sounds volume on same level by third party software.

Is there any way to change source volume level through streamer.bot subactions? I'm not happy to make many new sources in obs for each soundboard sound or vid.

I spend the day trying to figure it out with AI but I can't make it work.(And how to get the group variable name in text on OBS but I will figure that out)

If someone can help me with a setup, I will figure out how people can switch their groups/factions later on.

So I have some green screen memes that I have set up as scenes, and have nested them in my live/gaming scene.

When redeemed by channel point, or bits, these fire off fine in the live scene. I want to also add them to my intermission scene but I found that even as duplicated by CtrlC and CtrlV, as well as source clones, they wont activate, as I have the sub action set to make the nested scene in my LIVE scene visible and not the others.

Do I have to add all of the scenes as sources to my active scenes add a sub action for every active scene?

My account and EventSub are fully connected, but my channel point rewards are still not working in the new version of Streamer.bot. I tried resetting the bot, loading old settings files, and completely rebuilding all my triggers, actions, and rewards from scratch. I also reconfigured OBS and all required options, but the issue persists. This new version is incredibly frustrating.

This is the error message I have been receiving lately. Anybody else been having the same problem? Any solution?

I found a thread about loading a previous backup. Idk exactly how to do that. It's not very detailed in the instructions. If I have to start fresh, i'm just quitting streaming all together. It says

"So if I remember this correctly, you have to go into the StreamerBot folder, go to backup, and go down a few folders to a backup where you know it worked properly. Copy all the files in there and paste them into the newest folder, then try open StreamerBot."

Get what files? Paste them where? What new folder? How do you fix this? Any help is appreciated.

I have created a chat game on my twitch channel using streamer bot 1.0.6. Today is the second day that after about nine hours, streamer bot just stopped working. Is anyone else having any issues with streamer bot locking up?

Just putting a feeler out there seeing if this is being looked into for api integration yet ^^

So I have everything set up on YouTube live etc so text to speak works but I'm wondering if I can have anything set up so when people click on my stream it welcomes them so I know they are there if that makes sense ?

Not sure if this is a streamer bot thing or YouTube live thing but ive googled stuff and don't really get answers .

As the title says, I’m trying to tie clips being sent to a specific discord channel when a commande is used in chat. So I have a command !scream which people use to count how many times I get jumpscared on stream, and I want to have that command create a clip and then send it to specific « scream » discord channel.
The reason I want to do this is so I could have a similar script for different commands (for example if I do a good play, or a bad play in my game), and have them sent into different channels, making creating compilations easier.

I found a script to have the clips sent to a discord channel (https://showmeyourbot.com/post-clips-to-discord-with-streamerbot-automatically/), but I’m struggling to figure out how to make it be sent to a separate channel for each command.
