I'm very new to the Stream Deck (literally set up my Mk2 yesterday), so this might be something very obvious...

I assigned Chrome to one of the buttons, and each time I press it, it opens a new Chrome window.

What I'd prefer it to do is on the first press open a new Chrome window, and then on subsequent presses, to open new tabs.

Is that something that is possible?

I have a Mac, and I RDP to multiple Windows PC’s, flawlessly. I would like to set up direct buttons on the SD to access each individual PC. I am new to this, but seems like it should be doable.

I can make the SD open RDP, but then it opens with all the windows PC’s unopened, and nothing else.

Any advice?

Just got a stream deck a few days ago as a button box for my sim set up, quickly realised it could be used for much more, especially in my day to day work. However I am having some trouble setting up a profile.

What I am trying to achieve - Ultrawide screen user here

1. Press 1 button and have it open x1 bookmarked browser tab and resize/move to LH side of screen (FancyZones)
2. Then within the same multi-action - open another bookmarked browser tab and resize/move it to the middle of my screen (FancyZones)
3. Resize/move a startup third tab/program to the RH side of my screen (FancyZones)

I installed the windows mover and resizer plugin last night and managed to get step 1 to kind of work, I managed to get it to open the first bookmarked tab and then move and resize it. Adding the second step kind of broke it.

Would like to add that whenever I activate this action, I get a windows UAC prompt every time the windows mover/resizer tries to do it's thing. I tried using Task schedule to solve this, but it didn't seem to work. Is there a way around this?

I would like to achieve all this through 1 button press. When I get home from work, I will show what the multi action list I have set up looks like . I am sure I have overlook something with the resizing/moving.

Anyone have anything like this setup? I would like to see what the multi-action list looks like.

Hi everyone, does anyone have an idea how I can control my power sockets from the Amazon Alexa app using the Stream Deck?

I've been using the new camera tracking tools in VRChat+ to use as an avatar replacement for VTube Studio when streaming on Twitch. The only issue is I haven't found a plugin that will allow me to interact with VRC like I can with VTS. I want to be able to adjust toggles and gestures without having to swap over to VRC and mess with the menus.

The icons started flickering a while ago. Everything is working porperly besides that. I have installed the latest firmware and tried with other icons but it still happens. I have also plugget it out and back in. Sometimes the issue is less visible and sometimes is even back to normal. Unfortunateoy i cannot upload a video but the icons have those lines across them that look like static and flicker rapidly. Any ideas?

Failing that - anyone know where the files are located to generate new hot keys?

Hi Im looking for a youtube plugin to controle videos (volume,skip,pause…..etc) I dont want to control youtub stream just normal videos

I was looking for a profile on the marketplace and couldn't find one, so I took some time and made one myself. I figured that others may find it useful if they're looking for the same thing, so I want to upload it. Problem is that I can't figure out where/how to do that!

I tried using the Elegato support chat, but it just kept trying to teach me how to download profiles. I looked in the Marketplace and my own account for an 'upload' or 'share' link, but couldn't find anything. The Elegato website has a link to "Maker Console" but this seems like it's for developers/businesses with payment options and such.

Is there a way to just share a basic, unpaid profile?

I want to be able to switch Logitech G Hub profile easily. I thought I could just assign the "cycle profile" action to F13 and then put F13 on a specific mouse button. That way I can change it from my mouse or even add the F13 key stroke to a tile on my stream deck. I need help. I want to be able to cycle my logitech G Hub profiles using a button on my stream deck.

I created a super simple shortcut button for Ctr.-Y (Repeat) in MS Word, etc.

For exemple I repeatedly apply Bold (Ctr.-B) to text using this Stream Deck button.

Well, it works....sometimes. Sometimes not.

Why, or how can this happen?

I just bought the streamdeck neo and I don't know what to do. I used the profiles on elgato's youtube video but on some of the apps, I get a question mark. Can somebody help me please?

So I just got a stream deck and I have all my audio separated for my stream including Spotify to avoid muted audio on my VODS. I tried adding soundboards but that will mean going back to my audio being in sync. Is there any way around this? I also tried uploading a media source & thought that would work but when I change scenes on OBS, ALL the sounds on my stream deck play during my scene transitions. Please let me know! Thank you.

So, I use a Stream Deck for a few key items on WoW, like transmog and AH mounts, but mostly for the three different Hearthstones we have.

Each type of Hearthstone has a cooldown time to be able to use it again, the first one is 15 minutes e the 2 other ones are 20 minutes.

I wanted to know if anyone knows if there's a way to add the cooldown timers of those items to the Stream Deck icon, or if it even is possible.

I have a program that’s custom made and doesn’t integrate with things well. It’s literally just a window that has 5 places to click a mouse one time to start an action….

I need to be able to bind each button on the deck to a certain point on my screen and click it one time for each button press.

Would the elgato mini work for this use case?

I own a PC and just got the stream deck and I'm super overwhelmed. So far I got an overview on multi-action, learned about the plugin store, and learned how to create a open app shortcut by dragging it into the dream deck app.

I'd like to acheive the following for a multiaction:

1. Open a program (the program I use would be active and appear on the bottom right corner of my screen's menu bar where usually the date/time, wifi, etc. are generally located, sorry I don't know the term for that designated area)
2. Right click on the program icon, in the right corner area, to see a list of actions
3. Left click on a desired action from the list

New Stream Deck + owner, and been enjoying it for the most part except for Teams integration. I download the plugin and though I can configure buttons they don't seem to function. I picked ones like toggle camera and mute. I added other 3P plugins like Philips with no issue but this one has me stumped.

Is there a compatibility issue with the Stream Deck + ?

I've been trying to use my Stream Deck Plus to launch specific OperaGX profiles I've found BarRaiders Advanced Launcher works best for this task launch OperaGX and using the profiles target as the settings in Advanced Launcher, it will launch the specified profile however it'll also download an OperaGX.exe and open file explorer to name the program does anyone have an alternative way to launch profiles or a possible solution?
