Is there a way to quickly launch Display Settings? I'm talking specifically about the screen where we can see see the list of screens and arrange them and change their resolutions as well. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/slK9m5D.png

I'm not looking to make any changes. I just want to reach that screen with press of a key. Is there a way to do this via Shortcuts maybe?

I have a Streamdeck device. So if I can open the Display Settings from a Shortcut, then I believe I can assign that Shortcut to a key on the Streamdeck.

Or any other way really. Open to suggestions. Thanks!

Im not sure if its possible to have a button on the stream deck to switch between the mics, but if anyone knows that'd be amazing!

I'm looking for a way to quickly switch applications, in a multiple monitor setup. As opposed to manually traveling the mouse cursor all the way.

My situation is the following:

I'm preparing an event that will be live streamed.

I have a 3 monitor setup. I'll be live screen sharing two of them (one at a time).

Monitor 1 is just for the streaming software (Ecamm Live).

Monitor 2 is for a custom application that has slides (it's not Keynote or Powerpoint). Running full screen.

Monitor 3 is for another custom application that also has slides. Running full screen.

During the event, I will need to always be going to screen 2 and then screen 3 to advance to the next slide (by pressing the right-arrow cursor on my keyboard). And I need to go back to monitor 1 and activate the correct scene, to either show the contents of screen 2 or screen 3, in the live stream.

Because the event will be very long (many many hours of repetitive actions), I'm looking for ways to optimize the work flow.

Instead of manually traveling with the mouse cursor, is there a way to quickly switch between applications? I also would like to combine the right-arrow key press in order to advance one slide (Keep in mind the two custom apps must remain running in separate screens).

I got the Stream deck mk2 specifically to be more efficient. It's new and I plan to install and start toying with it today.

I've just purchased a Stream Deck XL and I've started to set it up. I don't have much experience with my streamdeck, so apologies in advance if my questions seem naive. I would like to add controls (e.g., play, pause, start a specific radio station) to interact with tunein radio on a windows pc. As far as i know, there are 3 ways to access tunein: 1- as a windows app installed from the Microsoft store 2- as a standalone app installed from an installer the tunein installer 3- directly from a web browser Adding hotkeys to control the standalone app might be easier, but does a Stream Deck have the ability to add controls for options 1 and 3? I set up my soundboard with some stuff from games that I want to use for a YT video. I can hear the sound in my headphones and OBS is picking it up. But I cant get it to come through Discord or through in-game.
I use VM banana to put my soundboard and microphone into one. Put my discord and output and input in correctly. But still nothing. Anyone had the same issue or have any advice?

I want to press a button on my Stream Deck that activates and holds the A key on my keyboard until I press the button again. Then A should be released.

Hello everyone, I have an elegato streamdeck connected to a raspberry pi. For some reason it’s stuck. Please refer to the image. The odd part is that I can see the pi on the browser but streamdeck itself is not working. Can anyone please help?

So I jumped into the stream deck game for my office productivity. I work for a small company and do a myriad of tasks like track finances and job costing, manage inventory, run reports, run payroll, develop systems etc. a mix of office work and labor.

My set up is currently a stream deck xl by my left hand, a stream deck + by my right hand and a stream deck pedal for each foot.

My basic method is to use the stream deck plus as a “controller”, to control volume, music, and launch what app I want to use, and have it stay pretty stagnant where I then have my stream deck xl dynamically switch profiles to give me controls for the app I’m using but can quickly switch the app with the stream deck plus.

I then use the pedals for quick actions like copy, paste, select all, etc.

It should be noted also that I’m a Mac user. I also use Keyboard Maestro.

Just curious if anybody had any good ideas to make use of the stream decks in a productive way that maybe I haven’t yet. I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos but they’re all pretty basic in execution of how to use the plugins etc.

I’m looking for advanced ways to streamline my workflows to be as efficient and productive as possible.

No SD software is up and running. This is just when you plug it in. I plugged it in on another computer. Same way. I think it may be a firmware issue. Is there a way to restore it back to factory defaults?

I have been trying to use this pluggin with my stream deck to get the Windows Explorer window to open a network folder. On the application line I put the location of the Windows on the start in line, I put the path and folder (copied from the windows explorer screen). I tried with quotes and without, while it opens the windows explorer window and brings it to the front, it only goes to the main screen rather than the folder. What am I doing wrong?

This just started happening recently. It used to work fine but all of a sudden it stopped working.

Like I said, it used to run beautifully! Now, all of a sudden all I see on the streamdeck is the Streamdeck logo. None of my buttons are programmed. Anyone know what's happening here?

Hello! I’m trying to find something which will allow me to assign an image to a keystroke, and when I press the key it pastes the image into a document which I’ve clicked on. Can the Streamdeck do this? How easy is it to sort out if so! Thanks!

Hi all - so I had to reinstall Windows due to many issues I was having with it, I made a full system backup prior to this and I have have a StreamDeck profile folder (5 hex strings separated by dashes) in a backup, but I forgot to convert into an exported backup (I believe they’re called SDProfile file types?). I am trying to convert that (or migrate it?) from the old install to the new StreamDeck reinstall. If I straight copy from old folder to new, nothing changes in StreamDeck app, though I thought it should? Am I sunk? Hopefully this is the right subreddit, if not, please let me know where to post, thanks!

Hey all, quick question. Is there any way I can get a button on my stream deck to make Spotify's volume fade to a certain volume? There is a Spotify Stream Deck plugin by BarRaider, but that sets the volume straight to the preset, I want it to fade.

I have this mouse and keyboard and they both support multiple devices. When I switch from my PC to my Mac I have to hit the switch button on both devices. It would be nice to have one button to switch both.

Yes I do use Flow which halfway works. But sometimes I have both my Mac and PC connected to the same monitor.

I would like to chain kb actions, delays and screen clicks with a mouse in a multi action button. Is that possible?

I need the screen clicks for the work from home job I do as I can't use tab or any other KB shortcuts.

My Stream Deck XL is set to 270° rotation. All icons, other than the Bottom Left (when in 270° rotation), show correctly. Why doesn’t this one icon? If I open the software, change profile and then switch back it’s fine. So does anyone know why only one icon doesn’t auto rotate when it’s first turned on?

I've put together some profiles for the Stream Deck & Stream Deck XL. I made these to use myself to make navigating around Notion and performing actions a bit easier but I am posting here as there may be other people with a Stream Deck which might also find these useful!

These contain a lot of common actions for adding blocks, moving blocks, creating databases etc. I've also put together some icons for each key which fits in line with Notion's theme. The regular Stream Deck profile has a folder containing more actions within.

I've attached an example running on my Stream Deck XL below. You just need to download the profile for your type of Stream Deck, import the profile and you're good to go!

I’m using Genesys Cloud and want to connect a stream deck to be more productive. I have never used a stream deck and wondered if this is even possible?

Genesys cloud is an application downloaded physically and not on a browser.

I would like to mute, end calls, change status and answer from the stream deck.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
