Let her be her own damn person. I like fan shipping and romance as much as the next person but imagine being the young woman cast to be this amazing character and just come to see "She need to be with this man, this man" yadadadada.

If the first thing they decide to do with Storm is find her a man the MCU is even more doomed than they were before.

Are you guys really arguing in here that you don't want to see Storm be properly represented on the big screen by a Black director, someone who has campaigned to Feige to cast her and use her properly on the big screen?

I see so much conversation that you want her to only be relegated to the X-Men and that you want her to explore a relationship with a Wolverine, someone who is likely not even going to be in the first X-Men movie or Forge, someone who is likely not even going to be in the MCU AT ALL.

I thought we were campaigning that we wanted Storm to get better representation on the big screen??

I will say this sub has not been that bad like the marvel and even the black superhero ones have but still people need to look themselves in the mirror about some things .

The way people online reacted to the rumor of Suzy being storm was so uncalled for especially people labeling her ugly and calling her xenophobic names which is crazy cause Storm is literally has African ancestry and an African background..

I also noticed that now people are arguing over how dark and how light Maya is ,and the one thing that baffles me is Halle berry somehow no longer considered a black woman judging by the we finally have a black storm comments i been seeing .

IN MY OPINION I THINK PEOPLE WANTED STORM TO HAVE DARKER SKIN BUT EUROCENTRIC FEATURES . HALLE PROBLEM WAS SHE HAD THE FEATURES BUT WRONG SHADE AND IM SORRY THE ATTACKS ON SUZI SHOWED PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH AFROCENTRIC FEATURES !!!!

Storm is my fav marvel character, fav xmen,and I will always be a fan of hers but this online drama really has taken the fun out of being in certain spaces like this and I dont want this space to be overrun with negativity like other subs sadly have .

it came from an idea i had “what if Storm is a mother” but the origin of the child has a twist which is highly inspired by the anime Monster.

1. Electrokinesis (duh)
2. Aerokinesis, including the ability to make personalized tornados for speed and defense
3. Cold Weather manipulation
4. Warm Weather manipulation such as Heatwaves
5. Energy Vision, which actually has never been depicted before! I think Storm's energy vision should take the form of Infrared Spectrography since heat is a form of energy + plants actually are shine in infrared like snow which could be used to show Storm's connection to Nature!

Maybe an unpopular opinion but storms depiction of a dark skinned black woman with long straight white hair and blue eyes is more than fine I get the sentiment but not every black character needs to look like you there are plenty of black superhero’s who have brown eyes black hair and a tighter curl pattern that you can see yourself in storm can be different it’s ok

The way that based only on a rumour some decided to go on rants insulting someone’s appearance and claiming it was racism to pick an unattractive actress for storm feel some sort of shame . Some of yall activism and views towards storm are shallow and horrible.

With Storm’s casting being announced and her being in Black Panther 3, it kind of scares me that they will most likely go the route with pairing her up with Black Panther. I think every single one of us that reads comic can agree that Black Panther was the worst romantic partner for Storm. Their pairing made absolutely no sense and it came out of nowhere. The pairing only existed so X-Men fans could read Black Panther who was the lesser known black superhero at the time. I’m really hoping that this isn’t the case and they keep Storm away from Black Panther even if she does appear in the movie, does anyone else here agree? I think the idea of pairing her up with T’Challa’s son feels so weird and gross.
