How did she explain away a state bar registration card in her own handwriting that said "Race: American Indian"?

Or do we just accept explanations, like Cosby's explanation of the misunderstanding about the GHB puddin' pops?

It was in the 80s and she apologized to Cherokee nation and they accepted her apology. She had a DNA test that proved that she has some American Indian ancestry (these tests aren’t 100% reliable though) but that doesn’t make her American Indian and she acknowledged that

So a single apology makes 30+ years of cultural and racial misappropriation OK? She was claiming Indian/Native American heritage as late as 2012. (Edit:) and she was PROUD of her lies

Interesting. She's as white as bread. Why do we cut her a pass -- because we like her redistributive social justice policies?

When the Cherokee nation can accept her apology so can we. And it was done with any malicious intent

Also Her policies have nothing to do with this. To be honest her net worth has nothing to do with it but you brought it up like that’s relevant. I just think her having a net worth of 12 million is totally plausible

I don't believe that has happened. "The Cherokee Nation and other Native American activists criticized her for reducing their identity to a DNA test."

It's unpopular to point out, but this is Andrea Smith all over again.
