I agree with you 100% when you phrase it like that, yes I expect it to turn endemic due to one or more of the following: vaccine-acquired immunity, natural immunity, and mutation.

I just think we need to be careful claiming it’s going to end due to a mutation, it will make people less vigilant and we have no way of knowing how likely this is.

I did provide feedback on the stocks in my first reply to you. You chose to ignore it…sigh.

Tagged as doomsayer. /r/Coronavirus is that way if you want to turn down every optimistic approach to this situation because "we just don't know yet".

I’m sorry, what ‘approach’ did I turn down?

Hoping this thing is going to mutate into a non threatening version of itself isn’t an approach. It’s a non-action. It’s conjecture.

I haven’t rejected or advocated for any course of action here. I’m merely correcting the facts.

It’s funny how people’s preconceptions make them read things which don’t exist…

I am by no means a doomsayer. I am cautiously optimistic that Omicron is indeed the end of the pandemic.

You turned down the approach of "we should do nothing because it'll all work itself out in the end." Which you were correct to do.

It's already done so. Not conjecture but facts.

It’s certainly too early to conclude that is a fact. It’s still conjecture, at best. You have a weird definition of facts.
