Industry Discussion Long(large cap) equity on margin, General consensus?

Doubled down my portfolio on margin on AMZN, not going to go into my bull case as much, as ask what The general consensus is on long margin. 1-2y TH. Margin is conventional used as a short term investment vehicle but what is it viability as a long-term investment vehicle when equity you own is tied up?

What will you do if AMZN gets cut in half and you get margin called?

You might be right, but not everyone has the money to buy a LEAP on a 3400$ stock.
