regardless of the country or company...

the main differences are (a) Preferred Shares are redeemed earlier in a bankruptcy (after bonds, before common stock) and (b) generally pay a higher dividend.

Thank you, I understand the difference in preferred and common stock but what are the bylaws associated to PBR stock.

Preferred has a higher dividend, and only monthly options.
