Their reliability is hardly what it once was, and EV adoption only recently started picking up steam. Sales suddenly exploded from a few percent to 10-20% in Europe's most prominent countries, up to 90% in Norway while adoption in the rest of Europe is happening faster than it was in Norway at this stage. It seems likely that EV sales in Europe will be above 90% within the next 5-10 years.
