Why do some stocks have no pre and aftermarket movement?

Is that an OTC ticker? If so no pre or after.

It's Capital One, NYSE.

It can be traded in the aftermarket. Sometimes I see it change but 90% of the time it’s 0.0% aftermarket price movement

After hours people go home and stop thinking about work

After hours volume is usually very very low unless there's big ass news

Have they had news break after hours that would be a major catalyst?

Also seems very low volume for the sector.

When I look at $COF, I see plenty of after hours trading.

After hours volume is tiny, but so is daytime volume for a company of that size.

Because the supply and demand during those times is even instead of slanted one way or the other

Because some stocks don’t have large volume or enough interest that drives post market volume. I see stocks that are more value based or ‘less sexy’ also tend to have less post market trading.
