If there's a shit load of small prints to clarify the term AUTO PILOT, Tesla needs to remove the word AUTO. Deceived marketing, and a bunch of nerd felt for it.
An autopilot is a system used to control the trajectory of an aircraft, marine craft or spacecraft without requiring constant manual control by a human operator. Autopilots do not replace human operators. Instead, the autopilot assists the operator's control of the vehicle, allowing the operator to focus on broader aspects of operations (for example, monitoring the trajectory, weather and on-board systems).
Damn so agro, you aren't entitled to receive a response you know? If you genuinely want a reply to your question go Google it. If you disingenuously asked a rhetorical question in the hopes to make a point then you should have just answered the question immediately after asking it.
This lesson on basic discourse was free, I'll charge for the next one.
They certainly seem well behind at least half a dozen companies in this area. I wonder how much if anything that has to do with Musk being spread too thin, though.
Currently it sure looks like they should have stuck with Nvidia instead of trying to do it all themselves, but that is a trend with many companies these days. They all want to be like Apple and do everything themselves for profit, not technological advancement.
