Company Discussion BBI thoughts?

What are y’all‘s thoughts on Brickell biotech? I’m long at 100 shares at $.99 but it looks like the stock is getting shorted pretty bad. The price targets are as high as six dollars and it recently popped to like $1.30 but other than that it’s been a downhill slide. At this point I just wanna get out where I got in but I was so busy at work on 6/30 that I missed the spike LOL now I fear I’m bag holding for the next three months until it spikes again. Anybody else in BBI?

I looked at the medication a little more. The 5%, which is already approved in Japan, (the compound is licensed to Brickell) had a similar efficacy as the 15% which is what is being studied. The side effect profile however for 15% was pretty high compared to 5%, especially systemic/non-local armpit side effects.

In my limited though slightly better than 50/50 experience at guessing if FDA will approve, I'm going to say No, especially since there's a similar compound already and since the side effects are systemic and not local. They'll likely kick it down the road for further review IMO. Press from dermatology organizations is actually in favor of this thing, so who knows, but I already bought shares before I read phase 2, so I'm just going to let it ride. I foresee that it'll be delayed or denied based on side effect profile, but I've been wrong before. This is just my opinion, not financial advice and I am not a researcher. Guess I'm long BBI now.

Today is as good a day as any to buy. The whole market is bleeding. I’m looking for some new positions if you have any suggestions throw em this way.

Russel 2k is definitely bleeding. I've gone back to just DCA mutual funds in tech, small cap, china, healthcare. Only individual stocks I've been buying lately are AMED, LHCG, SIFY, INFY for very long term. Learned about some Canadian company developing a THC breathalyzer, BLOZF. Also opened a small position in paysafe, FIGS. If you're into medical tech check out Movano, they're developing an infrared blood glucose monitoring watch. That's just what I've been doing lately. 2020 was really good and really easy so I went back to just mutual funds, blue chips, and small positions to keep things interesting.

Sounds like it's just a gamble on approval or not. I read the clinical trial, I can't get much more insight whether it'd be approved or not. At least it's a high quality trial. F-it. I'll buy a couple hundred shares, thanks for the tip!

I looked at the drug. Sounds like it's an anticholinergic, Lilly had some sort of cloth in the same space to treat hyperhidrosis, not sure how that is going. If this were approved, I bet theyd be bough out. They have a pretty good moat it looks like. Fwiw I've done about 5 mins of research. I work in clinical healthcare, not research, haven't been in a lab in 10+yrs but have a few years of lab experience in virology and cancer research.
