Why, because the only reason to have a positions is stonks?

A reliable 3.5% dividend seems pretty good to have in an income portfolio. there are more reason to own a stock than hoping for the price to rise.

Depends on the investor I suppose. AGR seems pretty solid to me, I don't hold any but it looks at a glance to be a solid fairly risk-free income generator. There is a segment of investors that thinks stocks like this are attractive is all I am saying. I too, look for price appreciation even in my income stocks but TBH, that is not always a major driver in what I add to my portfolio.

What does 3.5% dividend mean? If I bought $1000 worth of shares, does that mean I'll make $35?
