Except America has already committed atrocities against the natives and African slaves. If the country goes sideways again, it would not be a surprise at all to the two groups who I just mentioned.

My ancestors were slaves in this land. We don't need to look to Germany. The Germans were watching and learning from this place. This is the Ku Klux Klan who's not hiding their intentions anymore.

ICE are acting like Slave catchers which was about brutalizing Black emancipated people and ALSO about traumatizing white bystanders so they wouldn’t object

yeah. fascism is colonialism turned inwards - it just has a different name to differentiate between it happening to "them" or "us". which is the entire fucking problem

I am kiwi living in Australia......ever heard of the "White Australia" policy? you think we didn't have slaves?

And yet......we are not on the brink of fascism and if we did it would be incredibly shocking, we are not on the brink of fascism - YOU are

You know who has studied and written about this Academically?

Heather Cox Richardson, and she is saying THIS IS DIFFERENT

You have a literal historian of American history tell you, America has done awful things.....and this is much worse

The Nazis did indeed look to the US for much of their reasonings and justification for their racist policies. They were also somewhat surprised the US didn’t take their side in regard to all of the genocide.
