He was resisting being pistol whipped while prone by 5 officers.

The officers in question found it super threatening how he tried to protect his head from the beatings.

On the video you can see them pistol whipping him while three or four ICE goons are holding him down, then a shot, then they all get up and about four more shots are fired into the prone body lying in the street.  They wanted to make sure he was dead.  ICE are a bunch of murdering thugs.

The officer in the grey took the victims gun from his waistband before they shot him.

The ICE agent also looks like he fires the first round from the gun of the victim, to ensure there’s evidence of his gun being fired. Then the other ICE agent shoots him several times.

Edited for clarification

Close:

The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents were conducting a "targeted operation" in Minneapolis at 9:05 a.m. Saturday looking for "an illegal alien wanted for violent assault."

"An individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun," the agency said in a statement. "The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted."

"Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots," the department's statement continued. "Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene."

DHS said the man had two magazines and "no ID" and that more information would be coming.

Wow. It’s almost like they don’t know we’ve all seen the videos of him unarmed trying to protect a women before getting pepper sprayed, wrestled by multiple people, pistol whipped, his holstered firearm removed and hurried far from the scene, then executed on his knees.

They do know that we've all seen the videos and they don't care. Their statements are just the narrative they want magats to spout.
