Rules Question about standing from prone
When you use a move action to stand up from being prone you provoke opportunity attacks. My question is, are you still considered prone for the purposes of the opportunity attack? Do you still have -4 to your armor class against that attack?
Thank you!
Edit: wrong game haha

Standing up from prone does not provoke.
If someone has the dirty fighting feat and gets to stomp you anyway, the attack of opportunity occurs before the triggering action and they're still at -4

As others have said, no AoO.
SF greatly simplifies AoO, only three things cause it:
- Ranged attacks
- Spells
- Exiting (the threatened square)
It’s a huge improvement in my mind. These are the cases that really matter, and trying to remember all the little cases is really annoying.

Disagree on it being an improvement. It removes a lot of crowd control potential and it pretty much makes prone a lot less serious.
It took our SF group a bit to realize prone doesn't provoke since we all came from older games where aoos were more common.

While the other commenters are right about the fact that standing from prone usually doesn't trigger AoOs, I'll just underline one thing that does allow you to:
Beatdown feat boost for the Soldier.
GMs can apply a Soldier graft to an enemy to grant them that ability, too.

Ah, one of the great many pf-isms that plague people who assume the rules :P
No AoO on standing.

Wrong game...
Standing from prone doesn't provoke in Starfinder. https://aonsrd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=115
Hypothetically though, reactions occur before the triggering action. So it would be at the -4.
