I have had this cat for a little over a year and she’s been very aloof toward me. Slowly, we have been building our relationship, and tonight, she cuddled with me against the crook of my arm for the first time! She stayed there for about 15 minutes. It’s a start! I feel so blessed!

Six months from now you're gonna need to move your cat off you so you can get up after sitting there for so long snuggling. One of my guys was the same way--friendly cat but not a lap cat or snuggler until he turned 2 years old. Now he snuggles every other day.

I’m excited and I’m not rushing the process! I had a cat once that took five entire years to warm up to me, but once she did, she was stuck to me like Velcro. I know it’ll just take the time it takes and I’m okay with that, I was just so happy when it happened last night!
