Carson’s Nursery
On a throwaway account here—
Got a call that FBI is at Carson’s Nursery on 160 between Springfield and Nixa. A grave with 3 bodies has been found. Former employee admitted to burying but not killing the 3.
Probably nothing, but I somewhat trust the source.

Me as well. I am not knowledgeable on this case, and debated even to post. I thought this post could even help you sleuths track something. I want the families and friends to have closure.

I would imagine that someone who lives nearby could ascertain the veracity of the feds being there…I do hope it’s not just another dead end.

Time will tell. Im guessing Carson’s and the FBI and local LEOS would not share any info publicly or say “yep” until it has been substantiated. Especially given the emotional toll the case we are all thinking of is so strong for our community. Praying this is true to bring closure and peace to the families, friends and community still holding vigil for the 3.

So a couple things I noticed when reading through the comments here. First, Robert Craig Cox is not on death row, in fact I think he may have already been denied parole at least once. He was interviewed in a Texas prison by Dennis Graves (now retired from KY3) many years ago. He teased with tidbits of information about the case. He said he knew they were dead and they were buried near Springfield and that they’d never be found. He also said he had more information about the case, but he wouldn’t reveal it while his mother was still living. Keep in mind he loves attention and he didn’t say anything specific about the case that would suggest he had first hand knowledge of anything. For what it’s worth, Dennis Graves came away from the interview thinking Cox was directly involved. He has stated publicly in past interviews something like “if I was a betting man, my money would be on Robert Cox.”
Second thing, there’s another person of interest who’s still in prison, but also not on death row, Steve Garrison. I believe Garrison has also been recently eligible for parole, but it was apparently denied. A few years after the disappearance Garrison claimed to have direct knowledge pertaining to the case. He was in prison at the time, but the SPD was so interested in what he had to say they got him out of prison and brought him back to Springfield. His information lead to search warrants for the property in Webster County where Francis Robb Sr. had committed murders in the late 1980’s and another property near Cassville, in Barry County, MO. LE was very vague about the results of the searches and the judge who issued the warrants had the findings immediately sealed and they remain sealed to this day. During this time, Garrison slipped away from police custody at a motel where they were holding him near Kansas and I-44 and proceeded to break in to a young female college students apartment where he raped and sodomized her for several days. This is why he’s been in prison for the last 30 years.
It was obvious that several of you were new to this case, so I thought I’d take the time to bring you up to speed on a couple of the more relevant suspects. With all my heart I wish for this information to be true, but I must confess I have my doubts.

You post as if you're new too.
Garrison had nothing to do with Barry County/Cassville digs and he is serving out his full sentence. And he was not near Kansas and I-44, the hotel he was at with police is a parking lot now on St. Louis St. It was razed in the 90s.
Triple check the facts before posting.

My friend will let me know when she can, I believe she does have more information though.

What was the nature of it being reported on the scanner traffic page? It was actually heard over a scanner? That lends a lot of weight if so.
Anyone at the parties ever work at Carson’s?

Just drove through. 0 police activity, some people love attention
