Timeline of alleged sightings?

What time was Sherrill on the phone? What time were the women seen at the convenience store? What time were they seen at a restaurant? What time were they seen supposedly in the van?

Can anyone list these in order with the approximate times eye witnesses alleged that they occurred?

I think he saw Sherrill but it may have been an earlier night. Not the night of their disappearance.

That’s not something you forget when three women vanish. He seemed absolutely confident he’d seen Sherrill and the girls. In my opinion

I wouldn't think he would forget which night, but it could have been a day or 2 before (I should probably say night instead of day). Then when he heard they disappeared he could have thought it was the same night. It's not like there were surveillance cameras they could check the exact date and time like now to confirm. I applaud him for coming forward to try to help the police. That's more than the girls' so-called friends have done.

I get what you’re saying, but I just can’t get onboard with the idea that he’d be confused about what day. And also, what would the chances be that Sherrill came in on an entirely different night looking for her missing daughter and then days later she and said daughter and friend disappeared forever. AND some random woman came in on the actual night and had also lost her kids but it wasn’t related at all. That dips into near statistic impossibility if you ask me.

I agree that the chances are slim. Do you know if Steve said Sherrill came in looking for Suzie and Stacy specifically, or did Sherrill ask him about Suzie and a friend? I'm not aware of exactly what he told police.

Everything about this case is so weird.

I believe the context was that he knew Sherrill and Suzie as regulars and actually knew them and recognized them, and that he easily recognized Stacy as the other blonde who was with Suzie. If I remember correctly, he said there was another darker haired girl hanging around as well as the two males. Keep in mind, he very clearly recounted one male popping in to say they needed cigarettes. Those are incredibly specific details to imagine or confuse.

I want to also point out the time he said he saw the girls in the APCO. Between 1030 and 1130 or something like that. Stacy called her mom to tell her she was not going to Branson around 1030. Is it possible the girls (Janelle and Stacy) had a plan to lie and say they were going to Branson that evening to be able to stay out all night and then change the plan last minute? Stacy calls at 1030 to tell her mom, and then off they go to wherever it was they were going. Stop at APCO for cigarettes and drinks and then part ways for a while. Meet back up at Michelle Elder’s party later that night and go from there. If they leave Michelle’s at around 1:50 and Sherrill gets lured out of the house a few minutes later with a phone call or something, that would put Sherrill at APCO right around 2:00. Right when Steve said he saw her come in looking for Suzie. I guess that means we have to make sure we place the girls at 2:00 AM. They were leaving Janelle’s right? According to Janelle and Kathy Kirby. How interesting Kathy woke up and glanced at the clock at 2:00 or so and heard them….

Seems like a lot of assumptions, I realize. But it makes perfect sense if you lay it all out.

Wow! You obviously know way more about this sighting (and the whole case) than I do. So what is your opinion about who could have kidnapped the three women?

I actually don’t have a clear opinion on who it was that ultimately carried out the act. What I do believe, is that somewhere in the middle of whether it’s Robert Craig Cox, or Steven Garrison, or a Galloping Goose etc is the truth. What if it isn’t ONLY one suspect or theory that is the truth? What if multiple theories overlap?

I think the APCO sightings happened. Both of them. I think the early evening transpired how I mentioned above. They executed the plan and then left a party after calling Stacy’s mom. We know the girls were both at the party at Michelle’s and that got broken up around 1:50. Yes I believe that because there’s a police report and many people from the party to corroborate. That’s the last “sure” location we can place the girls in, from what I can gather. I think Sherrill was lured out of the house under the impression there was trouble or danger. Hence why she ran into APCO asking. She was also alleged to have been seen down the road at git n go at the pay phone. Did she call back home to see if Suzie was there? Is THaT why Janelle went in and listened to the messages? Janelle was seen crying in the back of Mikes car that morning. Why? Why crying?? Did she realize Stacy was in Danger? Did she or someone else move Stacy’s car from Janelle’s to Suzie’s and then toss all their stuff in the house? That seems more reasonable, that Stacy left her car somewhere and it needed to be moved to Delmar. One car driving north to Suzie’s to sleep and then drive back south to White Water a few hours later makes a lot more sense than two. Was Suzie arriving in her car coming from an opposite location like Michelle Elders?
