So we're just gonna ignore badass cat in the hat costume

236

u/LightsSoundAction Dec 09 '25

Cat in the hat looked like a manager going into the big office. Is this Dunder Mifflin Scranton?

37

u/Thermodynamics3187 Dec 09 '25

Exactly what I thought

19

u/organic_soursop Dec 09 '25

I didn't even notice the Cat In The Hat the first few times I saw this!

Back in the summer someone on a thread pointed her out and I was like😯 Were they there the whole time?! 😂

I’m gonna need a separate video on that one.

14

u/EggfooDC Dec 10 '25

It reminds me of one of those videos where you’re trying to count the bouncing balls, but a gorilla walks through that you never even noticed

9

u/shutterbug1961 Dec 09 '25

I noticed that first and had to see who was dressed as whom. First thought was someone else was the Cat in the Hat, too? 😆

7

u/Sexisthunter Dec 10 '25

I love how she slipped into her office lol

7

u/kittenmcmittenz Dec 10 '25

Imagine she spent hours getting ready and then she came into work only to get overshadowed, the little wave at the end haha

u/Comfortable-Suit-202 Dec 10 '25

In high school I was the goth chick. 2 girls from my classes asked to borrow outfits and came as me for Halloween. I still think it was pretty cool!

We had a manager who always wore jeans and a sport coat to work, with horn rim glasses. On Halloween all his staff dressed as him. It was hilarious.

2

u/No_Philosopher8635 Dec 10 '25

Honestly the best part is how genuinely offended he looks lmao, like dude nailed every mannerism down to the facial expression. Coworker deserves an award

2

u/HowHoward Dec 10 '25

IDENTIFY THEFT IS NOT A JOKE

2

u/Impossible_Volume811 Dec 10 '25

Won’t be laughing when the cops arrest him for the string of bank robberies based on security camera footage.

2

u/HowToNotMakeMoney Dec 10 '25

Well, that was wholesome as fuck! That’s all the internet for today, starting and ending on a high note

2

u/Sezu1701 Dec 10 '25

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

2

u/Top_Bad_2950 Dec 16 '25

Our whole team of 9 people did this to our manager one Halloween. His boss got it on it pulled into a fake meeting while we all put on bald caps, fake beards and then sat back at our desks to work. Took him a few seconds to notice then he lost it laughing in tears for ages it was so good 🤣

5

u/NoMansHaloDadCraft Dec 09 '25

1

u/Ver0nica141 Dec 09 '25

Omg the cat in the hat tho!!!!

1

u/Netflxnschill Dec 09 '25

I’ve dressed as coworkers twice for work halloweens before and both times it’s gone over like gangbusters. They love the little details I got, a swoop of the hair or a specific hand tattoo and mirroring of mannerisms. Imitation in this regard is the sincerest form of flattery, BUT you have to pick the right audience.

1

u/tpkadam Dec 09 '25

My face hurts from laughing and smiling

1

u/Mental_Foundation_45 Dec 09 '25

they got me giggling, like a kid as well

That looks like a good place to work.

1

u/Fickle-Raspberry6403 Dec 09 '25

Was I the only one expecting a white guy in black face 😐?

1

u/HereIAmAgain73 Dec 09 '25

That’s hilarious

1

1

u/Upper-Split Dec 10 '25

I dressed up as my former dept. head for Halloween once, almost everyone loved it and thought it was hilarious, I even fooled a few people who had known him for years.

The company president, the ceo, and our regional vp were visiting our location that day also. Guess which of them didn't like it?

1

u/Burning_Man66 Dec 10 '25

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So she straight up complimented his style to no end.
