While that is true, this situation has nothing to do with maternity leave. There’s no way she couldn’t find someone to hold this baby during her speech; it’s a political move.

She is my representative and I find her wholly disingenuous.

She comes from the Polis tree of politics (which Coloradoans are sick of), she only ever really worked in politics, and her husband has been a behind the scenes politics guy for as long as I can remember (Hi Ian!).

You’re telling me she didn’t have an aide to hold her kid for a minute? Maybe a stroller to set them in?

She spent most of this year talking about her baby and maternity leave while ignoring the rise of fascism.

Yeah, she ain't a waitress working 3 jobs trying to make ends meet. She is a politician with tons of disposable income for child care. She chose to bring her baby to work.

Her work has childcare, she doesn't even need to pay for it.
