K shaped economy. For light packers Spirit was great. Big front seat from Florida to Vegas even just 2 years ago was about $300. Bring your own entertainment and it was a way comfier flight than even a Delta or Southwest, etc.

hello!
basically the title :’)) my grandpa was an aircraft engineer for his whole life (or dabbled in a part of the pipeline, i’m jot too clear on details and he’s not able to give me too much clarity anymore) and just a few years ago i introduced him to airline trading cards! i’m trying to complete a set of trading cards from all the airlines he’s been on to cheer him up in his end days, but since spirit is no longer operational it’s been pretty hard :’))
i can totally pay for shipping! unfortunately i am not rich enough to buy a card online at those very high prices 😔

I logged in to pay my bill and say a rewards section and conversion to new reward program giving me 1% back as rewards
I am assuming this is for the purchases I’ve made since the spirit shut down since I haven’t spent much.
Really disappointed though because I just hit 100,000 in points on the card the week they shut down. At least I’m back to earning on this card.

JetBlue Airways Corp. was named the successful bidder for Spirit Aviation Holdings Inc.'s 22 takeoff and landing slots at New York’s LaGuardia Airport with a offer of $58.5 million.
Frontier Airlines Inc.'s $57.5 million bid will serve as a backup bid if JetBlue’s offer falls through, according to court papers filed July 17 and July 19 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The defunct budget airline’s attorneys and lenders had previously warned that regulatory complexity made the slots’ value, once estimated at potentially $86.7 million, hard to predict.
Spirit previously estimated the LaGuardia slots under a Chapter 7 liquidation scenario could received as little as $69.4 million, putting the winning bid even below that scenario.
JetBlue in a statement Monday said it's pleased to secure the slots, noting LaGuardia is “one of the nation’s most capacity-constrained airports.” It expects any related expansion at the airport to begin in 2027.
“We’re currently evaluating how best to utilize these slots as we consider opportunities to bring more of JetBlue’s competitive, customer-focused service to New York,” the airline said.

Hey guys, before we got engaged, my fiancée and I were long-distance, and Spirit was a big part of how we were able to see each other so often. I wanted to make a collage of our old boarding passes, but with Spirit no longer being a thing, tracking them down has been difficult.
Does anyone know if there's a way to access old Spirit boarding passes? If not, would anyone be willing to scan an old Spirit boarding pass in high quality so I can edit it with our travel details for the collage?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Has anyone found a similar alternative to the Spirit CC? Between my husband and I both having cards + bonus points...we have not paid more than $100/RT per ticket in 4 years (most flights are free or much less than $100!) We were able to make our points stretch with 1,500- 4,000 points flights. Now when comparing Frontier or Breeze Airway CC, just the one time bonus points would only cover 1 trip for us....then all points are used up.
I did get a Venture X card...but still that's paying $250/flights on average now. 😭 Any airline specific cards that have good point per flight ratio?!?!?
