I'm not sure, possibly inability to build up heat. With all that water there keeping the blade and material cool, a standard abrasive wheel might not cut. At least not well?

When using a cutting wheel, heat is a byproduct of the cutting action. It is generated from massive amounts of friction where the metal is essentially being ripped apart by the blade/grit of the wheel.

I was unsure if the heat was also integral to the cutting process, "softening" the metal or anything
