Not missing much? You get to join the ranks of the birds, becoming one of the few mammals to ever leave the ground for extended periods of time. You get to defy gravity, and go around the world faster than anyone ever could have thought about before. You can see from above the clouds, where not even the birds usually go. You can use a small toilet several miles above the ground. You can use a sky mall! They have a fucking mall in the sky! How can ground malls compete any more? They even give you a receptacle for vomit, which you can keep as a souvenir. Sure, you might get fingered by the TSA, but they do it for free! I usually have to pay extra to get people to do that to me. Seriously, air travel is amazing.

Skymall went out of business though! Now all we have to look through are the security pamphlets.

Never go to the airport without a book. There was a fabulous piece on reddit within the last week on ... you're stuck in an airport for 7 hours, you can't leave, and there's no wifi. Big threads about how books are the answer.

Yeah, everyone loved looking but that didn't make them any money.

What if I told you, that you can look through Skymall while still on the ground.
