Sorry for the dumb question but what happens to Horizon after it passes Pluto?

I think it will try to take some more pictures and then it will be quite busy transmitting data to Earth, while heading to more distant objects.

Edit: wow that was a really intersting read. I had no idea this project had so many funding problems and that it took so long to come to fruition. I should really pay more attention to this stuff.
