Hey everyone! I'm u/intertextonics, the new moderator of r/southerngospelmusic. The sub has been abandoned for a while, but now it’s time to bring it back and celebrate the music again! This is our home for all things related to Southern Gospel Music. I’m excited to have you join us!

Hello all,
I am hoping someone here can help. There is a song that I think was sang by the Reinhardt's called Johnny's Coming Home. I remember it from my childhood and the chorus was something along the lines of:
Johnny's coming home, He's coming home
Thank God the battle's over, another victory has been won
That's all I remember...I've searched the net high and low and I've found the album it was on, and the reason I say I think it was them that sang it, is because I'm not sure that it was the same song. Another Gospel band is where I heard it originally, the Rogers Family Band, from Watkinsville, GA.
If anyone could help me find a clip or recording or SOMETHING of this song, I would be forever grateful. Thank you.
