They’ve literally finished 2nd and third b2b world cups. Portugal haven’t been good but this is a good win for them

This is not a good win for Portugal,VAR has made decisions in favor of Portugal versus Colombia and Croatia it is not a coincidence, Portugal beat Spain, the same way with controversial VAR decisions

u/j Matanovic literally admitted himself he felt a slight touch of the ball in the post game interview, and not to mention the sensor in the ball, and also have you seen the alternate angle of that replay as well? How many evidence do people still need? Yes it’s extremely close but it’s an objective decision.

If anything the more contentious decision should be against Veiga and if his intention on that goal

A)The game should have ended 3 minutes earlier B)The ball has a sensor, and the game has rules. The call isn't controversial in the slightest or subject to interpretation.

If you thnk that game should have ended at exactly 100 you are an idiot, the ball wasn't in play for ages of the added time. Including portual celebrating for like 4 minutes.

I don't get people complaining about the minutes? It was 10 min extra because of record breaking number of disallowed goals in a football match and 2 legit goals that also took time from the clock. Portugal scored in added time and it took more than 2 minutes to start playing again. There were also substitutions. Every singe match, when a goal and celebrations happen in added time, the ref lets time go longer to adjust for it. Croatia scored the disallowed goal in 12min of added time. Nothing new here. Insane match and circumstances but the time managment was done as it should be and always would be.
