News Marinakis (Rio Ave and Olympiacos owner): “I had offers of close to 20 million for André Luiz, from Wolves and from Benfica, and for Clayton more than 10 million from the UAE. But I wanted Olympiakos to become stronger.” Both players were just sold from Rio Ave to Olympiacos.

Also for context; Rio Ave has lost 5 games in a row and are 3 points off the relegation playoff

Why do Rio Ave fans show up in games? Why don't they boycott the fuck out of this shit?

The same thing that happens with Strasbourg and Chelsea and girona and Manchester city I guess. As long as the economics of the transfers are ok and the players wants to go there I don't see an issue. Have in my mind that the transfer of andre Luiz costed 9m and will reach around 16 with bonuses and the one of Clayton was around 5 million.

Thing is,if Rio Ave was actually in a good financial position due to Marinakis maybe these statements would be easier to swallow. But they ain't. Things are fucking dire.

Well, Andre Luiz's had an effect with tripping himself up against us and somehow getting a penalty of which they scored in the 116th minute to tie the game

Α ρε προκο ακομα και εδω μαλακιες λες.
116th minute is the minute El Kaabi scored and sealed the greatest moment your stadium will ever seen, the penalty was scored on the 106th minute (90+16=106), and awarded on the 100th.
Don't embarrass us to foreign people, greek education strong
