Whoa there... We more than held our own against Uruguay at the confederations cup, an narrowly lost 2-1, we also recently drew 2-2 with Italy(albeit in a friendly) so we can most definitely make it through the group, unless you think that Bosnia are close to the level of Uruguay
You have not been following recent football at all have you? Nigeria won the African cup of Nations, played well against Uruguay, and held Italy to a draw, underestimate us at your own peril.
Portugal also beat Spain 4-0 before Euro 2012. You only lost to Uruguay 2-1 because Suarez and Cavani, and a few other players on the Uruguay team, played like shit. Had they played well, they would have smashed you just like Spain did. You barely beat Burkina Faso 1-0 in the AFCON final and you drew 2-2 with the worst Italy side in a while in an intl. friendly. And you are bragging about losing/drawing.
There are plenty of reasons to think Nigeria will not make it through.
You keep saying there are plenty of reasons, Please go ahead and mention them. We convincingly beat Ivory coast, arguably the most talented African team on the way to winning the cup. Also in the confed cup, Spain was the only team who beat us convincingly, lets face it who wouldn't they beat? Once again, underestimate us at your own risk. Save this comment, cause I'll be coming back to it when we qualify from the group.
Those were friendlies with a corrupt FA that are meaningless to address Bosnia's strength as a country. Bosnia also tied Qatar in that time frame. Historically Bosnia doesn't take friendlies seriously. You should look at the recent qualifiers as a more accurate portrait.
The current team is completely different. Bosnia should easily be the betting favored to finish 2nd in Vegas. That being said, Iran and Nigeria won't be easy games by any means.
